Why in flash light photo of eyeball become red?

look at the eyes  After longing research finally, I got this reason why it is so. It is the actually same reason as back-light of bicycle works at night means the same principle as retro reflector glass is working. [  link for details how retro-reflector works  ]                                                           ( retro-reflector glass)  As our eyeball is spherical in shape the light is reflected back to the source itself means if we capture a photo by mobile phone as the flashlight is configured side by side to the camera, the light will immediately back to the camera itself, for that reason under the flashlight at night eyeball become brighter like a Dracula!                                      ...

Do you know how to measure the distance in space ?

laser retroreflector The physics behind this is very interesting, In a scratch three perpendicular mirrors are set up together in such a way that every falling beam of light on it will be reflected back to its original source. No matter what incidence angle it falling from. there is a catch! parallel ray This special type of structural arrangement of glass is called "retro-reflective glass" and a series of this type of glasses is called Retroreflector.  How to measure distance? In a nutshell, Retroreflector has fitted with Spacecraft, a beam of light is sent from the earth, as its property the particular light beam is reflected back to the earth after some while. The time taken to get back the light is measured. This measured time is lead to find the distance between them by the help of some basic equations.                          velocity of light x  total ...

How to measure growth rate of the plants?

I know some times you wondered, like me how fast plants are growth per day, on the contrary, we don't have that patience to observe the plant whole day. To solve this problem inventor  W.D.Frost, Alex P. Anderson came up with a device or set up called Auxanometer. "Auxanometer" is a device used to measure the change in the growth of plants. Very easy and simple in construction even you can make it in your home. Auxanometer This device has contained a pulley, a measuring meter, a clamp rod and some weight and threads. Thread and weight are used for creating an upward force on the plants so that it grows straight in a vertical direction. As shown in the above picture. After a few days when the plant grows weight is come down as this tread is connected through the pulley, the pulley will be rotated. This rotation is lead to measure by a scale. If the scale is calibrated we will get directly the change in height of the plant. *  rate of change i...

A solution of molestation in public buses due to heavy congestion.

Often I have noticed some disgusting men intentionally touch a woman in an inappropriate manner by taking advantage of the crowded bus, more than 90% cases are not reported and also woman usually ignores this harassment multiple time, they won’t revert back to the offenders due to fear of self-respect or thinking the touch as unintentional because of a fully packed bus. What I have perceived , the problem is not the crowded bus rather the person's poor mentality. Now changing their mentality is not in our hand but we can manage the system in a better way so that this can be avoided. If we closely observe, the crowd is randomly distributed in the buses men and women are shuffled together very badly for that chances of molestation get increases to a particular. Here I have given the schematic diagram of the traditional system in the crowded bus. Now if we change the system little bit we can find a big difference, if we allotted two different gates to the differen...

Why hollow semi spherical shape is present underneath the beverage can bottles ?

look at the above image, this semi-spherical shape we are talking about, in this question. We try to find some reason behind it. 1)Standing stability from a structural point of view.   **in both case of MOI 1/2 is multiplied in this above fig we have compared both the probable cases, As a result, we got "second can" have more mass moment of inertia means more force required to tilt, or we can say have more stability at standing position. That's why we prefered the second case over the first one. 2) Standing stability at the rough surface. here provided video clip is enough to understand... Hope You Like This! any further Addition is welcome, feel free to the discussion.
